Exhibition Stand Design

Austrian National Tourist Office

Lead Designer : Handy Setiawan

For its participation at the International Luxury Travel Market Asia (ILTM) Shanghai 2016, a private and by-appointment-only exposition, the Austrian National Tourist Office required the design and construction of a branded exhibition stand that would host its own and four partner brands while taking into account the existing corporate identity. Key aspects when developing the design concept were the maximization of visibility of all participating brands, the efficient use of the limited space as well as creating a strong impact with the design.

Creating a design concept for a brand exhibition and award ceremony held in Joy City Mall and Park Hyatt Hotel in Beijing, China, in collaboration of Cosmopolitan magazine with Baodao, a Taiwanese eyewear brand. The brief included the design of a set of branded elements (logo design, posters, invitation cards and an award trophy) and the space: product display stands, a brand history wall, a stage area and the event space itself. The design concept mimics the illusion of a kaleidoscopic pattern with dynamic patterns composed of triangular shapes.
